Our story

It all began with an idea. We love wine, and my husband and I were collecting a lot of bottles! When our area stopped recycling glass, it began to pile up. I saw some wine bottles at wineries that just had lights in them with the labels still on, and I thought it would be neat to make lamps with the labels removed that were decorated with glass. I started making them and giving them as gifts. It was years before I actually kept one for myself!

When I retired from teaching in 2021, I decided to start a business, and Wine-Oh! Designs was born. My friends, family, and neighbors now give me all of their empty bottles! I have even branched out to do some traditional liquor and beer bottles for those who like the straight up “no fru-fru” stuff!! This year I added cork creations to the mix with wine charms, magnets, and creative, beautiful wreaths!
